Usage

Traditionally, matcha is prepared by whisking the powder in a bowl with hot water using a bamboo whisk. Matcha can also be used as an ingredient in cooking and baking recipes, such as in matcha lattes, ice cream, and desserts.

  • Tea: Start by sifting the matcha powder. Mix 1 teaspoon into a small amount of water to make green paste, then add hot water and whisk vigorously until you reach a silky, uniform froth with small bubbles.
  • Latte: Add your favorite milk to brewed matcha tea and sweeten if desired.
  • Smoothies: Add 1 teaspoon of matcha tea to your favorite smoothie recipe.
  • Baking: Add 1 to 3 teaspoons of matcha tea per 1 cup of flour to your favorite baking recipe.
