Step 2: Exfoliation*

This lotion for normal, combination, and oily skin combines 10% AHA fruit acids, 1% Salicylic Acid (BHA), and Provitamin B5.

AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), commonly called fruit acids, are natural sugar acids extracted from fruits or plants. For example, Glycolic Acid comes from sugar cane, Lactic Acid from beet sugar and blueberries, Malic Acid from apples and grapes, Citric Acid from oranges and lemons, and more.

AHAs promote cell renewal and increase skin elasticity by stimulating Collagen production. They brighten the complexion, remove surface imperfections, diminish skin discoloration, and reduce the length of wrinkles.

Salicylic Acid (BHA) or Beta-Hydroxy Acid, combined with black willow extract has a keratolytic action: it eliminates the dead cells accumulated on the surface of the skin and stimulates cell renewal. Thanks to its exfoliating properties, it reduces imperfections and refines the skin texture.

Combining these exfoliants with Provitamin B5 and lemon balm and cucumber extracts provides a gentle exfoliation and a clarity of skin.
