Crème Jeunesse is formulated with Bakuchiol, a natural alternative to Retinol.

Bakuchiol is a powerful anti-aging molecule that targets wrinkles and fine lines and smooths skin texture. Like Retinol, it has been shown to regulate gene expression, stimulate the production of collagen, and elastin and reduce photo-aging, which is manifested by the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

However, Bakuchiol has several advantages over Retinol:

• Unlike Retinol, Bakuchiol does not have severe side effects on the skin such as flaking, red spots or rashes. This makes it a much gentler alternative
• Bakuchiol can also act as an antioxidant to protect the skin from free radical damage; this effect is optimized by combining Bakuchiol with Vitamin E
• Bakuchiol can be used by pregnant women and people with sensitive skin
• In Crème Jeunesse, Bakuchiol is combined with Vitamin B5 and apricot oil to soothe, moisturize, and brighten the complexion
